Default My F/I setup...before installation

I didn't know really to post this here or to post it in the Forced Induction section, so i figured i have more pictures than words i guess. Here's my setup (everything to be installed june 3rd). Warning, first set of exhaust pictures aren't great. I used my brothers cheap camera. Rest of the pictures i used my good camera A few minor things need to be purchased but most of what i need is here. Feel free to criticize or appraise.

Out with the old...

I plan to buy a wideband and fuel system later (maybe headers as well) and stoptech brake kit (so i can stop!!!). I bought most of everything online, actually got a few parts from members on this forum. Search the classified ads often, i got the ultimate racing cats and autosport harness from there (brand new). I bought the vortech from superchargers4less in april. Talk to mike, he's a cool guy. Buy the polished kit though! Thanks.

WOW! You have a great setup! Where in Socal are you installing this? Do you mind if I ride in your car when its done? I wanted to ride in a Vortech Z for the longest time to see how it is. Before I went turbo I wanted to go S/C Vortech. I have always been a fan of Vortech. Nice setup bro.

Oh and the exhaust, you are going to love it. I have same exhaust system.

Install will be done by a mechanical engineer named chad (aka protocav on the forum). I've been recommended to him by at least 3 random people when i was looking for an installer and after talking to him i knew that he knew exactly what he was talking about. He has done vortechs before on Gs and a couple turbonetics kits. His prices are great as well. Anyone who wants to ride, just has to pay gas. No jk. Once i get it tuned probably will be better, but yea a ride is fine. I'm in Chino hills and i appear every so often at meets.

$200 to polish, i bought the satin kit because i wanted to black chrome everything but it turned out i changed my mind (for warranty issues), so i took it to a harley polisher i met at the west coast Z internationals meet. He did excellant work. Especially the intercooler, which i believe doesn't come polished when u buy it from factory. He did all the pipes, even the ones that dont show because they were easy to do anyways. Amazing before and after pictures of them. What a difference!

Here's a nice shot of the blower

Wow! I wonder if I should just if it is cheaper to have the kit polished or to order it polished.

Cheaper to have it polished, however, if you can buy something already polished from the factory i would get that if thats what you will go for anyway. I guess once the polisher attempted the job, the blower was hard to polish with all the grooves in the back. Its about 300-350 dollars more to get a polished kit. And they only polish the blower and 2 pipes, i had everything polished just for the hell of it.

Curious, how did you attach the stock muffler diffuser to your new exhaust? I like that.

Just unbolt it from the stock muffler, and use the stock screws and screw in. It was in the directions so i just put it on. You can't see it looking underneath so why not put it on?
