no it's nothing special.. it's just that she's past her redline and she took clear pictures.. i've done that back when i was stock.. with ppl in my Z..

 

what i dont get is... shes past redline.. ok.. but almost to 7k and only going 155? i did it and was still in the 5k's

 

The genius behind the wheel must have been in 5th gear.

hah you think its an average stock Z? think again..pay close attention to the picture..if ppl say their (stock) Z's hits redline, 6th gear at 5500 rpm's going 155mph, what gear am i in when you see redline, 7200 rpm's going 155mph?

Actually, you know what, I believe you if its a 6MT, b/c I personally pulled 150 mph in 5th gear, but i didnt fully redline it, I take it back. Im pretty sure under some HARD driving it could be done in 5th gear.

this gets me thinking.. what IS the fastest people have hit?? im sure theres a thread on it someplace if i searched.. i hit 165 in my old stealth twin turbo (pretty heavily modded) and 175 somehow with a friend in his e46 m3.. always thought those things were limited, but i sat there staring at the speedo as it did it.. i think once your above 130 or so it all feels the same , just a little more wind noise!!
