Hopefully you were in a safe place? 155 (not that I never have/will done/do it) is awfully fast for public roads...

what have you done to the Z? i'm guessing reflash is one of them as you can't get past 6600 because of the rev limiter.

 

Didn't know there was a straight enough road to do 155 in Hi. LOL

just to let you know, there is enough straight away!...its called millilani freeway... it has a 20 mile stretch straight away!

 

a lot of engine modifications and a very expensive ECU, its one of the ways where i can past the rev limiter...

 

What performance mods have you done if you don't mind me asking?

I think it's the bridge between HI and CA that the genie created after the guy wished to know how women think...

 

I did 160mph stock on HI-3 going towards Kaneohe in the middle of the night.. around 3 am.. 6th gear was on 5700 rpm around there.. i was to busy concentrating on the road.. when i hit 160mph i held like for 5 secs and then looked dwn and rpm tch read around that 5700 rpm and the freeway has about a 30 to 35 degree incline.. so i felt real proud of my Z. but definetaly very dangerous I wouldn't do again till i get better tires and a dampening system. I was just curious of what the car would do.. Oh yeah I have an 06 I don't know if the Rev Up motor is any much different. Is there a governor in this car or do u guys beleive there is something wrong with it.

 

My Friends doubted me.. One of them who has a 06 STi tried it on the same road and he had fuel cut issues around 140+mph. Something about his wastegate. But on the way back it was down hill and he managed to do 155mph.. that's just what he said.. Now the evo's on the other hand they can do 160mph.. no prob cuz i rode with him on his evo ix but to me it seemd like iI reached it faster.. must be because of our higher displacement..

 

I don't know what's crazier...the fact that you are going 155mph or the fact you are taking a picture while driving at 155mph . I hope the driver is not the same as the photographer

 

i don't know why it's such a secret...maybe she doesn' t know what they are...maybe she got her bf to just get whatever...lol
