New lights/new(b) camera... 56k = X_x
Hello, I just thought I'd share a few shots today of my headlight conversion that Todd (dragonplayboy) came over and helped me with this weekend. Well, he really did about all the work so all the credit goes to him. It turned out great and I couldn't be any happier.
I know its nothing new, but I haven't seen a conversion done before on many redlines.
Here they are:
Today I drove out to the causeway here in Tampa, and decided to take some pics with my camera. I'm still a complete newb with it, so bear with me. I took all of the shots with my circular polarizer filter, as it was a really bright day. To my dismay, I came back and found out that the polarizer had made my headlights turn rainbow colors in the pics! Unfortunately, this means that most of my really good shots were trashed.
Oh well, live and learn... Here are some that turned out okay.
Today I also found a new photo spot on the way back, but coulnd't stop to get any shots there due to the fact that rain was on its way. I might stop there later this week and try to get some shots. If people are interested I might post them up as well.

What camera did you use??????

Other than color correction and a few gradients and gaussian blurs, then no. I had to correct the color on some of the headlights in those shots to remove some of the rainbow caused by the polarized filter.
Notice in the first few pics in front of my garage you can't see any rainbows. These were taken without the polarized filter. I also noticed when I put on my polarized sunglasses, I could see the rainbow colors.
Ahh... I'm going to log off for now.. huge lightning storm and my UPS just caught a surge.. I'll be on later tonight.
Thanks guys.

ya, I gotta say that looks really good. I read the how to articles a while back, and decided that the whole "puting your lights in the oven thing" sounded a little scary. Your pictures might make me get over my fear!
