Default Round 1: Mount Palomar - 1 Stock Brakes - 0.

Went to Mount Palomar today in San Diego, California with some friends.

Smoke from the brake pads. A bit of fade, but the brakes (non-Brembos) were fine over all. Time for new brakes.

Default yep

Same thing happened to my stock MR2. Going DOWN Palomar is where you really notice the fade having to brake HARD for a tight corner.

I upgraded my MR2 to some Axxis Metal Masters, not race pads, and they never faded again. I hope they make these pads for the Z.

Good upgrades from OEM and same price as OEM without the fade.

Yea, the back part of Palomar is pretty fast. My friend's in front (two KO4 S4s) both had Stoptech brakes, so they had nothing to worry about.

yo, integrate, I was the silverstone that passed by you at the bottom of E Grade. For a moment I though I missed a Z run Anyway, it's good to see a Z leading some euros

If you are interested, the SD Zs will have a meet on March 8th. We will be running Palomar as well (but in reverse).

Hey, what's up!

It was good seeing another Z on the run. Today, I was ahead of a bunch of my friend's S2000 at Angeles Crest. I'm sure a pic of that will look great on the S2000 boards .

I will try to make the Z meet on March 8th. Palomar is my favorite run!
