Round 1: Mount Palomar - 1 Stock Brakes - 0.
Went to Mount Palomar today in San Diego, California with some friends.
Smoke from the brake pads. A bit of fade, but the brakes (non-Brembos) were fine over all. Time for new brakes.

Same thing happened to my stock MR2. Going DOWN Palomar is where you really notice the fade having to brake HARD for a tight corner.
I upgraded my MR2 to some Axxis Metal Masters, not race pads, and they never faded again. I hope they make these pads for the Z.
Good upgrades from OEM and same price as OEM without the fade.

yo, integrate, I was the silverstone that passed by you at the bottom of E Grade. For a moment I though I missed a Z run 
Anyway, it's good to see a Z leading some euros 
If you are interested, the SD Zs will have a meet on March 8th. We will be running Palomar as well (but in reverse).

It was good seeing another Z on the run. Today, I was ahead of a bunch of my friend's S2000 at Angeles Crest. I'm sure a pic of that will look great on the S2000 boards
. I will try to make the Z meet on March 8th. Palomar is my favorite run!
