What is with that purple thing? Is that a chin spoiler that someone got way too carried away with, or what?
I am laughing at it but, at the same time, I'm curious as to what it may be.

Here's an idea. If someone has the interest and skills, (I don't, I'm a techno-midget!), how about putting together a slideshow of the cars posted here. Or, maybe creating a "Rice Gallery" for the galleries section. Just a thought.
Keep the pics of crazy mods coming. These pictures get funnier everytime I look at them!

That's a great idea! I love looking at these cars. The main reason I enjoy looking at these is because most of the owners were SERIOUS when they added these mods!!!

Well, anyone willing to compile this cars and others like them into a gallery?
I think the entertainment value would be well worth it.
By the way, Let's have some more outragous mods here. We haven't had any new ones in weeks.

Yeah, it's an RS. Yeah, it was mad fast. If I ripped the video off of my camera and threw it on my comp, I could post up it's blazing 18 second 1/4 mile pass....

You know the thing I despise the most about ricer cars?
Those stupid, stupid, clear (or "frosted") tail lights!
I don't have a problem with most clear tail light setups that are made by the manufacturer, don't get me wrong. I like the styling of the IS 300, for example, or the Nissan Altima (though I can understand it if not everyone agrees with me). The key is, though, that those designs are tasteful. They're meant to work with the design of the car itself, and are often meant to make the car look more precision-crafted.
The problem is that most of the aftermarket tail light mods that ricers install are far from quality! If it's frosted, the frost is usually a garish shade of white that goes completely against the colour of the rest of the car (even if the car itself is white, sometimes). The lights themselves, frosted or not, are often changed or covered in a really ugly pattern... like a giant spider slammed into the back of their car, and the eyes are the only body parts left.
My general opinion is this: either pay the money needed to get a genuinely respectable mod, or leave the poor lights alone!

What is your point?
To me rice is guilty untill proven innocent, and its their fault for making a slow car look fast.
If they actually turn out to have the mods to back it up (which is rare) then I will respect them.
If you don't want to be considered rice by many...dont do any visural mods, and if you do keep them reasonable. I think I am perfectly reasonable.
Anyway more pics on the way.
I went to the track last week, and most of the cars were pretty fast, but there were a few ricers running 16's and 17's and more parked in the lot.
Here is an Xtreme Civic
