Using a polarizer filter for a 'point and shoot'
I was thinking of diving into a digital SLR, due in part to the awesome images given to us by Leemik, but not before I fully explored the options afforded to me by my highly regarded F11, and learning some other features of the camera. I need to practice/experiment more on apeture/focal settings as this point and shoot lets you manually set these settings.
Anyways, I recently got my Cokin Circular Polarizer, along with a UV filter, and some other effects filters. At this point though, I think I'll shell out for that Digital Rebel and some Hoya filters. But for those where only a point and shoot camera is only available, I suggest in getting a polarizer for outdoor shots. Here are some shots shot on full auto. Note the bluer sky and muted reflections, especially the window in the side profile shots.
