not a newb questoin. its a fuel pressure gauge. most people have the gauge inside but he liked his there (kinda unique i guess)

Wow, I was kind of wondering if it was a gauge of some sort. You are right, that is a very unique position. Does it give better visibility on the track or was it just something different he wanted to try?

yeah i guess its for better visability. when you drive the car you deffently notice where the feul pressure is all the time. i think that look is like an old muscel car look but it doesnt look to bad on the Z

Thanks! i wanted a body kit that looked like it could have come from the factory so i left the emblem in and got a kit that wasnt too aggresive, i really like how it turned out

Yeah that gauge on the hood is an old skool hot rod trick. Difference is, they would have 2 or 3 gauges on there. Looks really good!

What's crazy is you can see the difference in rotor sizes with the StopTech over the AP Racing big brake kits.

Normally the reason they used to put the fp gauge on the outside is due to that fact that older gauges weren't electronic and would require running fuel line inside the car. Now, with the advent of electronic senders, this has been eliminated.

cool pics

that is because the front ap on the blk car are only the 1 piece units from the looks of it. The 2 piece ones are as big as stoptech
