While I find the thought of hydraulics on a Z immensely ridiculous, who cares? That's what's so great about it.....the more ridiculous the other's look, the better my car will look.

also, you said yourself that hydros are ghetto (why would you ever want to put that title on yourself...that's pitiful!) so, what does that make you? are you ghetto?

yes, i did say "to each his own"....and i do believe this. but, why are you getting all worked up because of what people are saying? are you that influenced by society? if so...i'm sorry. if i said i didn't like that picture of you, would you run and change it? no...cause you like it. you like the hydros....most of us don't....but, who cares. as long as you like it....F**K (correct number of stars that is) everyone else!

just be sure of one thing....that if you post pictures of your z with hydros installed on it...you are going to get the same kind of response. many many...and let me say many...posts to your thread about how people "disapprove of it" or think it's "stupid" or a "waste of money" or something along those lines. so, if this is going to get you worked up or make you cry...save yourself and don't post pics. otherwise...post away....i wanna see how bad a z look all raised too!

again....i think it's a stupid idea....but i'm sure you think a lot of other peopels stuff is stupid and a waste....that's what OPINIONS are!!!

I'm not getting upset, I'm just throwing my 2 cents back at him. No big deal I just don't see why lithos has to say sh*t like "ghetto" and to go to another board. This website is to have fun and that's exactly what I'm doing. There's on thing to give an opinion and another be rude and hurtful.

djkern I don't remember saying hydros are nasty, they're practically the same thing. As for the f***k thanks for spellchecking, correction "f**k", my fingers tend to stroke the key an extra time, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

Blue is my favorite color, so I just had to get the Daytona Blue 350Z! I love how the blue looks against a cloudy sky, and how the color changes depending on lighting.

 

Thanks for the info. I like the DB but it's too bright for me, same goes for the lemans. I stuck with silverstone cuz it looks totally different depending in what light you look at it. Plus, my truck is blue so I needed a change.

 

Wow... this thread took a change of direction! Thankfully we've bounced out of it!

 

The bags on my escalade were around 4000 thousand. Pretty hefty but its worth it.

 

Oh God, back to the original theme. My personal opinion, and again, it's just my own, having a bouncing Z would look as silly as a bouncing S2000, or worse yet, a bouncing NSX. Some cars, it just doesn't fit.

The Z is a sports car, with suspension and aerodynamics tuned to help you drive quickly. I would think that doing this would pretty much destroy that, and thus basically remove the entire purpose of the car.

But again, to each his (her) own. I appreciate people who dare to be different, but you have to have thick enough skin to put up with some of the reactions.

 

yea, just like a few days ago skizzle put up his mod list and got spanked by a bunch of guys saying his car is totally waste of money because he did nothing to performance....

i was like WTF~~!?

 

Yeah, I saw that too. That one seemed to be mostly jealousy, though.

It's not like there are even that many performance parts out for the 350Z yet! He has basically all one can do!

 

Thanks for all the comments!!! But, fortunately I won't be adding anything that bounces to my car. Definitely not worth it. I can always borrow my boyfriend's car.

I decided this after I went to the desert yesterday. Us Z owners have the best supension. I drove my Z out to Victorville (I don't know if anyone is familiar with that area) there are paved main roads, but everywhere else are privately owned roads which means dirt. I'm talkin' rocks, loose sand, dirt, trenches, and best of all mud. I was skeptical at first, but decided to give it a try. I've driven through these roads before with my expi. and the whole thing shakes and I end up having to go like 2 mph. With the Z I went much faster and I could not feel a thing. Usually with the truck the whole dashbord shakes, the sideview mirrors, the steering wheel, everything shakes and if feels like it's gonna fall apart. I have to say I'm impressed with my little off-roading Z. I did scrape the sh*t out of the bottom front of the car, I underestimated a trench.
