Default Tinted the Windshield

I took my car in this weekend and got the tint strip removed and the whole windshield tinted. I think it looks better.

My SB Z had windshield tint for about 1 1/2 years and never had any problems from the police. They aren't extremely strict here in Alabama...knock on wood though

His insurance company will also argue that the illegal tint was a contributing factor and mitigates their damages. The other parties insurance company ... well you might as well just put pure raw blood in the water because their sharks/lawyers couldn't get more worked up ... then there's the civil trial that follows.

Ah, to be young and have no assets again.

Oh, how I got flamed for postin pics of my tinted windshield! Yes it's illegal, as are test pipes and street racing that everyone seems to have so much joy in advocating here. My wife was stopped (for no plate while waiting for a prestige plate) and our tint was checked. GSP sent her on her way, said everything looked OK. All cars have a certain amount of tint on the glass, all you've done is to help it along a bit! Yes I have no doubt a lawyer could eat me up for a tinted windshield, just as well as for having a TV screen in front of me or a playstation controller in my lap. Why not for the NOS bottle tucked out back? Life is nothing but a series of calculated risks, I'm inclined to believe that a lightly tinted glass is a minor concern. Looks good man!

50% on the way around. I used to have 35% on the sides, then had to have it remove because the factory tint put it over the limit. While having the repair order signed off the state police officer looked through the tinit windshield to check the VIN and didnt even notice that it was tint. lucky me!
