Nice car, what made you decide for the s2k instead of the 350z??? I liked the s2k, but I was just to big for it and didnt have enough power for me.

nice...i've always loved the s2k, i've never got to drive one but i have sat in the drivers seat and its my favorite cockpit out of any car ive ever been in including my Z. Its long overdue for a redesign though, isnt it? I just remembered how long its been around. i know it got freshened up a year or 2 ago but anyone know if there's a full redisgn in the works?

I don't think anybody would want to get an s2k for daily. I picked an s2k over 350z for handling and just the overall feel, it's probably the most fun car I ever driven/been in. The cockpit is amazing unless you are over 6 feet tall. Never really liked the ap2's, lower redline, softer suspension, other minor things that I really didn't care for. The main difference between the two is that ap1 has a 2.0L engine with a 9k redline where as the ap2 has 2.2L and revs to 8k. Obviously there are cosmetic changes along with suspension and other things.

Too much to list variences are 00-03 ap1, 04-05, 06+.
Edit: Driveby wire, carbon synchros, closer gearing just to name a few.

Im very much considering a s2k for daily, why not? I have other cars I use for daily including access to a Tundra so practicality isn't an issue.

Sweet!

My favorite color combination too. Prompted me to wrap my Silverstone Z seats in red leather.
