you guys are comparing apples to oranges here. the guy obviously built a show car. show cars require a different approach than a slick clean road sled or a race car. in order to win shows you have to differentiate yourselves with wild paint, body kit, etc... and i think that's what he's going for. not something i would do because im not into building show cars. but, i give him props for imagination.

 

No offense...but Veilside V3 automatically disqualifies the car from being the "sickest" widebody Z out there.

Yes it is a widebody....but out of all the widebodies out there, it is one of the ugliest looking..... Maybe not the worst (The BRS style one widebody looks like it was fabricated with cardboard) but it's really bottom of the list.

Good widebodies that come to mind are Top Secret, Do-Luck, Mastergrade (although alot of people don't appreciate the Mastergrade one).

So...the car may have some work done to it....and it may be widebody....but the choice of the bodykit leaves much to be desired.

I didnt say I have no respect for the car, I understand its a show car
and throwing money at a car doesnt make it look good automatically, it takes taste, a good design sense, and originality - not 'lets see how much crap we can put on one car'

 

Wow that paintjob is the hotness! I agree I like the Top Secret wide body better but man that paint job. Fap fap fap!

Dude, stick to your guns! The car is nicer than most on this forum. It may not be everyones (who've responded) cup of tea, but who cares. You did a great job with the car and it and you deserve some respect for the comittment to completion you have made.

I intend to do the same with a roadster. I hope that I can pull it off as well as you have.
