Yea because butt dynos are sooo reliable. How do you know that he didnt lose power and torque in different parts of the RPM range?

What you guys are arguing over may be irrelevent considering he never said if it's crush bends or mandrel bent...

while I would otherwise agree with you, there's absolutely no way he had just any ol' shop do a mandrel bent exhaust for $175. You know as well as I do with 100% certainty that it was crush bent.

Mandrel bent would most likely have cost a bit more than the $175 that he paid.

your boy diesel put an edit on his post...but he spelled but dynos are reliable, and he wrote it butt dynos. I mean i dont want to sit here and argue about how a pipe is bent. All im saying is that the difference is probably minimul. for what he paid for it, im sure he got a few HP...when i bought my injen for 900 and prob only got 6-8HP..and his exhaust doesnt look that bad.

I'll give you props for straying from the norm and making your own custom job and not spending an arm and a leg on it. You said it sounds perfect for you and you don't think you lost any power, so IMO you achieved your goals perfectly. Good on you. F*ck all these haters that think the only way to go is the bolt-on's and doing what everyone else does.
+1 good job

Actually he didn't edit his post and it still says "butt dyno". If you will simply take my advice and google "butt dyno" you would probably stop writing these posts that make you look like an idiot.

Edit: Better yet, you should visit KaleCoAuto probably some products you would be interested in.

Well, that is definately true. But, if the OP is happy with his $175 exhaust, I'd say he is happy with what he got. So, why are you coming in here and blasting him for that? Even it it rusts out after 2 years, how many times would he have to replace it before he was up to the cost of a NISMO exhaust?

Anyway, I prefer the look of the dual exhaust, but this is probably lighter than the stock system. And don't worry about the crush bends. Its not like an exhaust system without any other mods really does much anyway. I would say the power difference between crush bent and mandrel bent tubing in the same size would be very minimal, probably not even noticable. So, just enjoy it, and don't let these guys try to ruin your fun.

Don't get pissed at me because you attempted to call someone out about something you didn't know about and in turn got called out yourself. Let's not start a pissing match, consider this a learning lesson.

So we can get this thread back on topic:

JRSport - What is the diameter of the piping? Looks good bro. I just had my own custom exhaust put on with a universal just like yours. Hopefully I'll picks soon.

lmao, great comments guys. I posted this and then left for the night, knowing I was going to get flammed like crazy by some people, but thats ok. It was fun reading it all this morning. I just think its sad how poeple judge you by how much money you have. Does it really matter? So my rims look like ****, im sorry, but I bought them used for $25 each from an old member here. So I have a $175 exhaust because I didnt go with a name brand. Im in collee people, and I love my car and modding it, but I cant afford top of the line stuff! Thank you to all you guys that are supportive, you dont have to bring people down that went a cheaper route to justify your costly mods. I appriciate people saying stuff like: "You should get spacers and it will help the look of your rims" instead of "yours rims SUCK!" lol Im going to try to get some clips here soon. I've been driving with the radio off since I got it on, cause I love the sound so much. Oh, and BTW - about the mandrel or crushed, its mandrel bent and I got it for so cheap for two reasons: 1) I dropped my car off the day it was supposed to be done and the guy never even started on it, so the next day he did it and gave me a huge discount. 2) There is only one bend that was needed, so it didnt even cost that much. Well anyway, Im happy with it...Already got a complimate from a G owner at a gas station
