Looking good. Although I miss the old paint scheme. It was individual and very recognizable, almost signature....

But as you know I bought the B-magic doors and they are currently being fitted to the car. They are being painted and even the body shop had said "It's a pity to paint these, they look so good." So I was also thinking about leaving a portion of it CF. But the more I thought about it, the more I couldn't figure out what to leave CF because it wouldn't flow with anything.

So what was your thought? To leave the very bottom part of the door CF (where the little off angle part is)? That was the only place I could think of, but it would still be a CF island in the middle of the car because the side skirts surround that piece. Any other ideas?

Yes I definitely agree with what you are saying as far as being super unique, but I look at this way. Eventually, someone else would have done the same thing and to me I like trying to start something new and taking different directions and possibly being a "trendsetter." This time around I wanted to focus more on the minute details that make my car a "quality" car without it screaming it out to where a car enthusiast with a keen eye would notice. Instead of making it so easy for someone a block away to see that I had CF doors, I want someone to walk up to the car and then surprisingly see the CF accents showing on the hood, hatch, etc and then realize that this car has a lot of hidden "treasures" that need to be looked for a little bit

For instance, i'm usually one of the guys at the car show looking underneath z's to look for suspension mods, heat dissipation mods, etc because I like looking for and appreciate that stuff more than a flashy paint job. When my friend was helping me install my Oil Cooler he was shocked to see how beefy my sway bars were, the camber and toe adjustments I had made, the GT spec ladder bar, and my ARC Oil pan since he actually never looked underneath it. To me those are the things that wow me because they are a bit hidden, but when found can be appreciated for what they do in the performance department and on top of it they look pretty nice too lol

Yes, you are right in the CF door looking kind of weird with certain portions unpainted. I have to graphic the car out for SEMA which is the only reason why I think that I could have made it work. Oh well hhaa

LOL, PHuc dat!

Anyways, the release date unfortunately keeps getting pushed back as they try to perfect fitment as best as possible. I'd say at least another 4 weeks before they take their pre-orders than ~2 months before the first batch arrives stateside.

Goddamn that oil cooler is huge. How much bones did it set you back Rick? Maybe you'll be the trendsetter with that... for guys who's staying N/A, that seems like an awesome mod. Would killer with the stock bumper with the grill cut out with a lip also. BTW, the XT7's would look awesome on the car.
