Default Footwell Lighting Pics

Couldn't have done it without Acree's info
https://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-exterior-and-lighting-diy/206837-diy-led-door-handles-full-walk-through.html

edit: Just did a DIY writeup:
https://my350z.com/forum/audio-video-and-electronics-diy/235662-footwell-lighting-how-to.html

I used Cold Cathodes 1 on the drivers side and 2 on the passenger side. For some reason the drivers side looked brighter at first so I put another to try to even it out. Turned out great to me. Pictures make the lighting seem a bit on the bright side, but in person its perfect. Comments welcomed

^- I know in this pic that blue thing is sticking out but I tucked that away after I noticed it in the picture. No one can see any of the wiring or mess unless they're 2-3feet tall anyway. Tripod was low :P

Through hatch glass, (35% tint)

I love that, how hard is that 2 do? Have any "walkthroughs" for doing that?
Nice work!

Yeah but if you scroll down a few posts, he writes about how he uses the same wires that he uses to power the LED's in the door handles to power the neons in the footwell. Just tap/splice into the positive/negative wires supplying 12V and its all good. Not hard at all to do.

that looks great man, very bright. 2 thimbs up for doing it yourself

i had my installer do the same, wired up to each door. We used 12 LED tubes - one tube for each footwell (left over tubes from my boot install). And put matching orange leds in the map lights

with bright white leds like that, you could stick their head in the footwell and give them thr 7/11 test before taking them home from the club

Default Help!!!!!!!!

I just got finished TRYING..... to do this and it didn't work.

Now it may be becuz My dome lights went out on me 2 days ago and I'm waiting for my new ones to come in. And I also checked all of the fuses as-well, they all work.. But if not.....

I can only asume that this is the connector you guys were talking aboutbehind the pillar..

First I tried to splice into the wires on the bottom part..... Nothing.

Then I tried the two on the top part of the connector....... And Nothing....

Please help....
