Default Got my Seibon Carbon Fiber VS2 hood on today! Thanks CarbonLTD (JIM)!!

Ok so I made a thread yesterday because my hood wouldn't latch and went to a body shop today and got it on, No biggy. They had to grind some metal off the latch and make the main the screw holes bigger, but it's on and that's all that matters to me.

I would like to thank Jim (CarbonLTD) At CarbonLimited.com very much for his most outstanding customer service! He made me feel good about my purchase, I would say he was the most helpful sales rep I have spoken to as far as guying something. He's a great guy and I will recommend him to anyone who needs Carbon Fiber parts. The only mishap from my hood is a spider vein of a crack or something. It's not big but I'm not picky. You can't see it unless you look up close or light reflects off of it.

Only got one good pic Will get some tomorrow)

Here the crack thing? Should I be picky about this? Dooesn't bother me but I've never gotten a CF Hood so I don't know what's bad so should I worry about it?

Looks good. Spider crack must have happened during shipping. Now its time to edit the signature mod list.

Jim is great with customer service/relations. Anyone in the market for carbon fiber parts should definitely give him a chance. I purchased my cf hood and look forward to picking up some more parts soon. You'll be hearing from me Jim, just need to get some things straight. Keep up the good work..

Yeah maybe. I'm not too **** about that type of stuff but you can only see it when looked at very closely, and that pic made it REALLY come to life.

BTW - When I got my package I asked the carrier if I could open it to check for damage, and he said I had to sign for it and he would leave He said that I would just have send it another time if their was some damage. I was like "WHAT EVER, MY HOODS HEAR!" Thanks again JIM!

Yeah, your hood was in the last order to be sent with DHL. You dont HAVE to check it before signing but if you do sign for it you are accepting the hood. If you do notice damage after signing for it you have to file your own claim with the carrier (which can take 3-4 weeks) and you must do it within a day of receiving it. If you were to notice damage before signing for it you can deny shipping and return to sender, then I file the claim (takes a week).

I'd def file a claim or return it. That crack is something that you and everyone else who sees it will notice. It is in a spot where will always draw attention.

Since he has already installed it im sure they are going to deny his claim saying it could have happened during installation. If you do decide to file a claim remove the hood and do it ASAP ! Let me know if you do and I'll do whatever I can on my end to help.

It's cool, I can deal with it. Like you said, "it will take 3-4 weeks." It's really no biggy, I'm satisfied with it.
