i think when i have the car resprayed i'm going to mold in the sideskirts since they need to be resprayed too. what do you guys think? i'm not really a fan of aftermarket sideskirts cause i think the destroy the curvy lines of the Z. i am all for subtlety being that i came from the euro scene where the main emphasis seemed to be clean line and shave and mold everything as possible. i'll post up pics, but it may be another week or so till the finished product. anyone running molded sides on here?

Other than bubble on here, I have not seen anyone mold body sections like sideskirts or bumpers to fenders. Talk to some bodyshops and see what material might be flexible enough not to crack during tempurature changes and normal body flexing.

The new front is a completely different colour than the hood. Also, I think the stock car looks MUCH better than this. What a waste of money!

Before the repaint:

Notice the fender emblems no longer exist.

And after:

yo i dont want to be a dick ....but now the paint is way to dark for the sides, front and fenders....its the the oposite of the problem u had before...it was too light...now its way too dark....i think ur gonna need to repaint the whole car to get eveyrhtign to match up....car looks awesome tho

I spoke to my friend at a local shop here, the best shop in Miami to my knowledge, his advise was to pain the whole car, I showed him the pics, and by what it looks like, it will never match, a whole paintjob is the only solution there. Just my opinion, but it shouldn't be so strong in person...

If you don't think its that off, then save the 3-4k worth the paint job. =)

The repaint looks much better as far as match. I spoke to a body and fender guy also, he told me, at least on my car, Lemans Sunset, that the only way the parts are going to look right is to partially spray the adjoining pieces, in other words, fade the new paint into the old. Other than that, he said the whole car must be painted. As crappy as the Nissan job is, I think I am personally going to save for a repaint.
