Guys Guys lol, it was just the time for this car to go. Mike got a ridicoulous amount of miles with this motor, def more then me. Now hes gonna get even more serious. Looks like 2 rods when crazy. I was surprised, one day I priced upper pans---Like a $120.00. Guess its time for a complete going through and shoot for MORE HP !!!!!!!!
Maybe Im demented, But I get excited when I blow a motor ( Havent blown the Z yet ) As soon as I survey the damage, I start thinking of the future.
Opening up a blown motor is like reading a book, every page adds to the story and leads to the Climax.

That Fram is a **** filter, but I didn't know it could cause a 20 psi overboost.
Am I missing something ??? What the hell does the oil filter have to do with a boost spike ???
And that top line Fram is just fine as far as Im concerned.
