An Evo VII that looks like my Z, the Nanakuli coast, and another sugar mill...

While working (I travel house to house all over Oahu), I come across this Evo with Advan RGIIs. An Evo in the same dress as my Z
If it wasn't for the Z, I'd have an Evo. Here's a bunch of pics taken today with the Canon 50mm f1.8 on Apeture Priority at f2.2, hence some parts of the car is super sharp because of the 50mm's razor thin focusing plane at high apetures. Should have stopped down to at least f8 for the full body shots. For those with only the Canon kit lens, this is a bargain at $69!

Early morning picture of Nanakuli (pre Waianae, West Oahu) coast.

This is a wide photo of the view behind the car. This is right after Ko'olina, where the NLF All-Stars do their skills events.

Flare!

The Waipahu Sugar Mill. Restoration is under way. It doesn't look like I remember it when it was being used for cane refinery. The mill is to Waipahu like the Golden Gate Bridge is to San Francisco.

That house is reminiscent of the old planation type homes that dominated the area. The mill is now going to be the new YMCA.

Practicing the wide angle shots. Taken at 17mm with the 17-55 kit lens.

My favorite shot out of the day. Taken with the help of a stair case.

Tried a framed shot with the help of the rails.

The next 3 shots were a study of what angle is best for the Z at 50mm.

Your Z is hot!! I don't like the gold wheels though.. nor the 6 spokes, but other than that, it's very nice.

...and seriously, I won't win the race, that EVO would blow my doors off.
