Painted my calipers already
New daylight pics added.
I cannot stand silver calipers, every since had my Vette I have always liked red calipers.

Looks great. Was this sprayed or brushed? It appears to be a fairly easy mod. I am assuming that you removed the wheels.
Can you post a total outdoor side view of the car when you get a chance? I would be interested myself, but first would like to get a better "feel" of it.
Happy New Year to all.
Back to work tomorrow. Damn the luck.

Were you calipers non brembo? I want to paint mine but i have an ENTH so i dont have brembos and i was wondering if it would be ricerish to paint stock calipers? Either way, it looks awesome man.
ok well i like the look of red on those calipers, but those look stock.
and i dont know how i feel about paint on my calipers.
I really want to have my Brembo's repowder coated so that they are the red version brembo's (like you see on Aston Martin's). My car is redline and i think it would be pretty cool to have matching brembo calipers. Anyone ever seen that done?

and stock brembos are painted, not powder coated.
In those threads you will find most people either used G2 (available at tirerack among other places for around $60 or something) and Plasticoat (available at pepboys for around $15), both come with cleaner, tape, brush and can of paint.

when people do this, do you take off the caliper? i am comfortable working on an engine, but have never worked on brakes....is this easy to do? yes, i will search for a how to section. i am the right way or no way person, so if it will look half a$$ if i don't take the caliper off, then i will just take them off to paint them.
