I would ditch dunlops unless they are gp's. I'm runnin michelin pilot powers but they just came out with pilot powers 2ct which are dual compound. the outer edges are 20% softer for a better lean angle and faster cornering. I have complete trust in the pilot powers and once u get them its a night and day difference. the arch on the tires make it much easier to corner and the bike is more predictable. I love them and are hands down the best iv ridden..

Dude, if I could do it again, that is exactly how I would my sh#t to look. This is what I left behind. Couldn't keep it on two wheels. Two little daughters though so not a good idea anymore. Nice ride brother!!! Not to steal the thread, just to contribute...

I have an extra set of bodywork because I'm planning on going to the track soon. I like it in blue better personally. Hopefully those pics are low-res enough that you can't see my huge chicken strips

That's cool how you switched up the bodywork. Do you know where i can get the bright green farings?

Ebay, kawiforums, craiglist and rarely on sportbikes.net. I bought damaged fairings and then repaired and repainted them. Cheapest way to go. If you spend enough time you can get a complete set of (nasty) fairings for $300. If you want fairings already in excellent condition look to spend $1000+ which may or may not include a gas tank.
