Hey Everyone, Just wanted to see if we could get a thread together that was dedicated to different paint schemes used on the Nismo V1 spoiler. I have one that I'm getting ready to install on a DB. I have a few different ideas of how I want to paint it, but would be good to see how others did as well. Mine is CF, so I want to leave some CF showing, but don't want it ALL to be CF...please post what you've done!

p.s. I stole someone else's paint scheme to get this started(thanks to whoever owns this...hope you don't mind)...i like this one, but am thinking of leaving the center portion of the base w/ CF showing as well. or just leaving the center of the base CF and painting the top Blue. I dunno...help me decide!!!

 

 

^ I like that idea. I assume it's all painted on top and all carbon underneath.

 

yup, I never liked how bulky the whole base look. with this paint scheme, it flows very well.

 

I like the way Philude painted his Seibon spoiler.

Who else makes this is Carbon besides Seibon. How is the quality of Seibons spoiler?

DrummingGuy....glad you weren't upset at me for 'borrowing' them...I think it looks pretty sweet the way you did it...but i'm not sure how i'll be doing it. Figured i'd try to get one thread with ALL the different paint schemes together...just to help us newbs out!

 

I just bought a Seibon CF spoiler...and the quality seems pretty good. This is coming from the guy who was drastically disappointed in the quality of their hood...some people called me too **** about it. So i'm guessing you'd be alright going w/ the Seibon if you wanted. Contact Jim (CarbonLTD on here) cuz i'm pretty sure he can get ya one!

 

I haven't had a complaint on the nismo spoilers. Philude is also a Seibon spoiler.

I also have 1 TCsportline carbon nismo spoiler. Check the vendors section.

Do you have to lift up the trunk when opening when u have this spoiler?

 

no one else out there wants to put their spoiler here? I think it'd be a useful thread to have around!

 

with the weight removed, my trunk barely lifts up under it's own weight, it needs some help. it stays propd on it's own though. when closing it however, i need to ease it down slowly

 

im feeling the white Z on top! Very creative!
