oh, i kinda like that....that's how i was thinking of doing mine...but maybe painting the wing body color as well, and just leaving the center of the base CF like that. Anyone have a pic of it like that?

Bumping an old thread. I am v1 shopping and wanting a v1 spoiler that touches the hatch like an authentic. I see some hit and miss on fitment. Some touch on one side, but not the other. I don't really want a CF, but the Seibon seems to be the best fitment so far....I would most likely fully paint mine...or black out the small piece at the base plate.

Authentic USDM V1 top is painted to match the roof trying to get rid of it though kinda miss the stock look from behind looking for like $100 plus trading hatches

Just a note/reminder...I think that the USDM version is the one that sits about an inch off the car at the wing tips...whereas the JDM version sits almost on the car. Mine is a Seibon JDM replica in CF...and hte tips sit a couple millimeters off the body of the car. They flex enough to hit the car though...as I found out from the wear marks on the paint...oops...

Just a note- the V1 JDM version should not touch the hatch on either side. The tips will be about 3/16ths or 1/2'' from the hatch.
