I Want to get some Overlays for my rear lights. I have an 05 with the non LEDs and i was wondering how many people actually done this without being hassled by the cops and when you turn your lights on and brake, can you actually see the red from the lights? I know this is not a problem on the 06+ LEDs, but just curious about the 03-05. Thanks!

If I were you i would search for bluebat, he makes the overlays for these cars and has a really good website with TONS of pictures, youll def get your answer for what your lookin for there. Plus I think he knows whats legal and illegal

i would get a set of 06 tails just to have the extra brightness

 

It's real easy to see the red from the lights at night. The only thing a cop might give you Sh** for is the fact that you can't see the reflectors from the side
