i like the way the solstice looks but i've heard its not the best performer....but that was only from a second hand source.

 

damn i was just looking at the solstice forum they have a dynoed proven 3inch exhaust that gives the solstice 34 extra ponies without a ecu tune. They havent cracked the ecu on that car yet but they say they are working on it if there getting this kind of gains just from a exhaust i dont know what will happen when they can start programming the ecu and timing. I've driven a turbo Sky, to say the least I was impressed but still not worth $32,000 out the door. It's still a Saturn.

 

this article shows the z roadsters best 1/4 time at 14.6. Are the roadsters that much slower due to the added weight, or do you think it was testing conditions?

 

I dont know ive driven a roadster before and it felt slower than my hardtop but how much slower i dont know. If you are interested though check out the pontiac solstice forum the (Gxp) are getting 34whp from a cat-back exhaust and 18whp from a intake and that is not even tunning the ecu on the car they even have plenty of dyno proof by individuals to prove this. If i imagine if they touch the ecu it will be crazy for their performance.

we are not talking about class lol we are talking about performance as you can easily see. As far as performance a solstice gxp with a exhaust and a intake will most likely just kill the z but we will find out im going to get a race with him with these mods he will be getting soon i dont think it will be a good race since they have people running high 13 stock with these mods it will be to much for me to handle i imagine that sucks i wish it wasnt.
