The Z coupe is quicker than the roadster by a good 2-3 tenths of a sec. Don't let the magazine articles discourage you. You should be able to hang with him even with the intake and exhaust. It's basically a drivers race.

I'm interested... I'm not getting a first year car ever again. I know I want a 'vert. I like the Sky better than this though.

 

I went and looked at the saturn sky and the salesman told me they had a 5-6month waiting list on them. I wasnt too sure what the price range was on the car so I asked him. He told me "30k". I responded back "no seriously, whats the price" He got offended beacause I asked him what the hell I get for 30k besides a cool design. The interior is crap and the power isnt worth 30k. I understand its a convertable so that raises the price and its 2 seater but seriously its a Saturn. The guy asked what I drove and I told him a slick nissan Z. He replied "oh, you cant compare this to the Z. the sky is in a whole different league". I responded "yeah its slower then a miata". He got really upset but didnt show it of course. Even my dad got smart with him. My dads a Z fan like me. It was a really funny to go up there. I didnt get to test drive it but I still got a laugh out of it. Oh and did I mention that the 30k was for the base. not the redline.

 

damn that is crazy 30,000 for the base lol he got the solstice gxp (turbo) for 30,000 fully loaded with everything the thing comes with to which is satellite radio, the leather seats are really nice in that car and pretty nice sounding system better than my bose in my car anyways and those heavy *** 18 they come with. I imagine if you get a lighter wheel on that car they would run in the 13 more easily those chrome rims have to be heavy. I think he is going drop it with some deepdish black wheels with a chrome lip they look alot more aggresive when they are lowered they sit pretty high stock. HEY SOLIDSNAKE (PHIL) HE SAID HE WELL LET YOU DRIVE IT AND RACE ME SINCE HE HAS NO CLUE HOW TO DRIVE HIS CAR THAT WELL WHEN IT COMES TO RACING ANYWAYS IM STILL TRYING TO TEACH HIM HOW TO LAUNCH THE CAR IN BOOST HA.
