New Red leather seats (Pics)
Here's some advice i was told by Katzkin. When I recovered my girls 99 eclipse, I requested vinyl with perferation, and I was told that only leather can be perferated, because perferated vinyl would tear once you sat on it. If it is vinyl, I hope there's a warranty. The car looks awesome though. I thought about the red once I saw leemik's, but I dont know on silverstone. I'm not totally sold yet.
Looks great. I was planning on doing mine in red, but wimped out and went with charcoal leather/black suede centers...
I must say though, an 8 out of 10 for a reqrapped Z seat is not TOO bad. I wrapped mine myself and it was a BEEEEEEEEEEEEECH. Took about 8-10 hours and my hands were killing me...

Back on subject, mine had a few loose spots and I just used leather conditioner every few days for a couple weeks and rub it in real good. Seems to have helped a bit, but I don't know. I did mine myself, as noted, and I'd say mine came out a 8.5/10 in the end. Some wrinkles, but I don't think you'll ever get it perfect without machines like they have at the Nissan factory.

Anyone know of a leather conditioner that leaves the leather looking extremely dull like factory leather?? Nothing looks worse to me than shiney glossy 80's looking leather seats.

Just an update- I have been trying to get ahold of Sergio @ Apache (place that did the red seats in my car) for about 2 or 3 days now, and naturally no response. I wanted them to fix the wrinkle in the drivers side seat, and I casually mentioned that I knew that they put vinyl in the centers rather than leather.
sad to say but My advise to anyone getting leather seats done: DO NOT USE APACHE AUTO.

well thank you, that makes me feel a little bit better about being scammed. The leather parts of it ARE IN FACT awsome, but I guess just knowing that the centers are vinyl, and that they tried sneeking that in, just really really really pisses me off.
Just wondering if you got the seats fixed? I see its been a few months now, any comments after some time on the seats? still love/hate them... how do people you know react to the seats?
Just wondering if this can be done to stock cloth seats aswell. the cloth and leathers are exact yes? so there shouldnt be a problem.
