Default Silkk April 07 Self Mini-shoot - Aerosync, Veilside, Sportmax, etc.

Well, a few weeks ago I hit a raccoon and it did $1700 damage to my OEM Front + Veilside V1 CF Lip Combo (). Anyway, instead of trying to locate another CF Veilside lip, I figured I'd go a different route and get the Aerosync front-end. Other than needing some black grille mesh I really like it. Anyway, here are some pics I snapped of the car yesterday. Also posted a shot of the interior with my suede centered seats, and DVD in nav hole install...

Comments, Criticism, etc. is welcome. Also, what are your thoughts on the black grill mesh and (my future plan of switching to) Work CR Kai/Rota Torques in 20ish offsets? My Sportmaxes have held up fairly well (did not bend hitting a raccoon with passenger front at 70mph), but the lips are starting to peel ().

Here they are:

You need a sticker to tell you what gear you're in? LOL.

Nonetheless, looks good!

Not that the garage sees the car much, but I put it there for liability purposes. Last thing I need is some dude driving it into a wall because its in 4 or 6, as opposed to reverse... (Not that the car would pull out in 6, but why take the chance?)

None "on file" here on my work computer, but I can get some for you this weekend or so. PM me. Just to note, only the centers are black suede. The outers are charcoal leather.

One of my favorite CS's. I always thought your car looked hot when you were rolling on the G35 stockers.
It kind of looks like the Varis is a little too high in the corner...although it might just be the angle of the pic.

I have always liked the silver and black color combination of your car. Very classy.

Thanks Ian, that is the drawback to having the bodyshop install your varis. Somehow they mis-set the template and cut it in about 1" too far right and 1/2" too high. Either way, I think it looks decent; most people never notice...

It DOES allow for more direct airflow into the duct on bumperwall and the intake, however that's not the best thing when it rains!

I might try setting the "Z" emblem I have back on the center and see how it looks. Since the varis is a little far right, it may not seem "too crowded" on the bumper. Looks hot without it though too IMO.

Thanks david. How ya been? Long-time, no see... Definitely need to get together sometime. Unfortunately I cannot make Sklyine (maybe a good thing) because I'll be in Ocean City (actually Rehobeth), MD, but I'm sure I can venture down your way sometime for some beers and a meal. PM me to set something up sometime...

EDIT: Or I'd be up for an auto-x sometime after I get new rear tires (sometime next month b/c I need inspected!!)

Too bad those wheels have to go, I really like them on your car. Work emotions should look good as well.

^The other option is doing some powdercoating on the wheels... I think you can get 'chrome' or 'polished' powdercoat. Or maybe a black chrome lip might be cool?

Any ideas anyone?

Car looks great man. I'm not sure if I'd change anything, to be honest.

As I mentioned before your car looks great! Good choice w/ the Nismo bumper. If your really thinking of switching up wheels to a black w/ chrome lip setup you should check out my Sevas wheels. Hopefully if we finally get around to meeting up they will be on. I think that combo would look great on your car.
