As a neutral guy here, I think the statement that black wheels are meant for civics is too much. I think black wheels are great, and will always be great. Do you see them alot? Sure. As for silver wheels, most cars come with silver wheels and have been considered boring before. With these Walds and the whole "VIP" style it's really the design plus the colour that will become more popular.

As for the "silver is the new black" comment... it will come true.

first off. I am saying it because i see where its going, im able to see the shift in trends, and the funny thing is, im seeing alot of people who think im right, granted they "Still like" black face wheels, they have come to terms with the point that silver has replaced black in the "what is most popular", if you like a wheel, put it on your car, like i said, black gramlights are cooler than silver sportmax, but when it comes down to it, when you buy the wheels you have chosen, i pick silver, because its new, fresh, and simplistic..

ok then, let me put it in old man terms

let me break it down for ya, cause that is what you want....

exhibit A. when something is overpopularized and overdone, like songs on a radio, people say that they are played out. that is the idea behind what i have been sayign about black wheels wit ha polished lip.


Exhibit B. super old man nice guy terminology... - black wheels with a polished barrel have worn out their welcome, the yhave reached their peak in popularity and are now redundant. the new neat-o thing to do is put silver, polished, or chrome wheels with a polished barrel on your car, because it isnt a tired and worn out trend.... like said blakc wheels with a polished barrel...

THEREFORE... silver wheels are replacing black wheels in terms of channeling trends... which led me to say... "silver is the new black" , because silver is now in, and black is now out, whereas in 1999, black was in, and silver was out...


NOW , if that is not enough of a good explanation of why i said it, only 2 things may be certain.

1. you are the idiot and are ignorant and unwilling to accept what is "now"..

or...

2. you recently bought or own black wheels with a polished barrel and are getting defensive because i'm saying that your **** is whack/played

If I'm not mistaken, you are the one typing up page-long explanations as to why teh silver wheel with teh polished "barrel" is "the hot trend yo".

Anyway, azn, the wheels look pretty good (perfect offsets, stretch, etc.), but the intercooler definitely helps.

nono, remember, my basis of arguement was a black wheel with a polished barrel, the fact that i didnt want to re-write that might allude to the fact that you may think i speak for all black wheels in general, i specifically said that "all black" was still cool in my book.

the idea behind the paint scheme of the time attack TE is killer, i like the idea. Im just not a fan of 6 bar wheels... in fact i sold my set of Expands because i got tired of the six bar look
