Need advice for Play N Trade Z
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I went back and forth about whether to get any community input on this. Anyway, here is a mock-up of the new way my Z is going to look.
Keep in mind that the whole purpose of this car is to SELL VIDEO GAMES. After driving it for a few weeks, I honestly wish I didn't have to wrap it at all, but them's the breaks. I wouldn't have been able to even buy the car if it wasn't going to be used for advertising.
That being said, I'm pretty happy with the layout. The only change I had the guy make is taking the website address off the front fenders, and putting it on the bottom of the door.
Anyway, I want to approve this by 4:00 eastern at the latest. Let me know what you guys think. I know how much you like looking at pics here.

If you're going to move the web address (good call), I'd also move the "try before you buy" and make the text straight. It looks pretty bad curving around the fender well like that, IMO.
Honestly, that's something I would see on a Scion. It just doesn't look that good on the Z since it's such a squat car. If that's what you need to pay the bills, that's fine, but I don't know of how you can revise that and make it any less bad (no offense intended).
It's over-the-top which is tough to tone down. But I agree that the curved text doesn't look right. And maybe move the game logos down to the sideskirts. It'll still catch people's eye but won't look so cluttered.

EDIT: The same company that did the Charger is doing my car, so you can see the quality I'm getting from the above pic as well.

Where I'm at is this:
I hate the web addy over the front fenders. That's definitely gone. I think the rear lettering will flow a lot better once the front is gone.
I couldn't see it myself until I physically covered up the front of the car with my hand, so I could imagine the front end just being normal.

Like some people already pointed out, the text "playandtrade.com" and "try before you buy" on the fenders don't look right. Maybe put those on the door? E.g. top left and bottom-right?
You have many many types of font on the car. It makes it look messy and unprofessional. I think it'd jive better if there was a theme, and all your fonts complement each other and the car.
I'm not feeling the gray dots around the logo. For me, they don't do anything for the logo or the look of the car, and are kinda light so it looks like dirt/mud spatter. They also take away some of the contrast of the logo (imagine how the logo would look without the grey dots --- the logo would pop out of the silver background more). The gray dots make me feel like washing the car
You could have a look at rally cars or GT cars for some ideas on where/how they position logos on the Z.
Also, don't forget that your Z is silver. Might have to adjust the color scheme a little to go with the silver background.

on a stock zThe thing is, the Z crowd on here is much more down on stock Zs than the general populace. That's because almost no one on here is stock. You have to look at the other 98% though. I still have people that think I'm driving a 50-60k car on at least a weekly basis (small town Virginia for you).
That's why I'm asking the most informed 2% of the Z crowd what they think. Next to you guys, a 16 year old's opinion is going to be a whole lot different, but I'd like a look that appeals to the enthusiast crowd as well. That might well be impossible, but I'd like to at least try!
Okay, so if we were to hypothetically take the curved text off both the front and the rear, and reposition that text on the doors, what would you guys have there? Nothing? I think there needs to be something there.
I'm not giving up on the curved text but I want some opinions on what you would do with that space, for those who dislike it.

I think if you were to use those spaces on the front and rear, you should follow the lines of the body.
E.g. Front: straight along the slope of the hood.
Back: straight along the edge of the hatch. The space behind the door isn't really friendly for text, but you could put logos/stickers there (like how you have them in front of the door).
