I honestly love the Z. I've owned quite a few cars and the Z is up there in terms of quality and workmanship with the Supra.

but we took ******* FOREVER to install the damn gruppe-m... and I had to use so much effort to turn the steering wheel! FOUR TIMES! what a waste....

If they total it then I believe you have a little time to take off the aftermarket parts and replace them with the stock parts if you have them. Though it might be easier to have the insurance company reimburse you for the parts.

If you have gap insurance, you should be able to walk away pretty clean and clear. That's assuming you still owe money on the car. If you don't have gap insurance, you might be out a good chunk of change.

You mention understeering along with the 265 tires in the front. Well, the 265s in the front would take away a good amount of understeer.

Oh and the '07Z is pretty sweet, but variety is good. Out of the choices, I'd take an e46 M3 or maybe consider a 335.

damn dude, i see your car on the 210 everyday on my way back from work, sick kit always caught my eyes and alsmot got me into a few accidents, at least your here to type this however. As for the next car, i say an elise =]
