but we took ******* FOREVER to install the damn gruppe-m... and I had to use so much effort to turn the steering wheel! I just realized...you killed my HOMEEEEEEEEEE (the front bumper)

If you have gap insurance, you should be able to walk away pretty clean and clear. That's assuming you still owe money on the car. If you don't have gap insurance, you might be out a good chunk of change.
You mention understeering along with the 265 tires in the front. Well, the 265s in the front would take away a good amount of understeer.
