My Pics from July's Issue of Turbo Mag *DSLR PICS*NO 56K*
Here are pics of my car featured in July’s issue of Turbo mag. Some of these made the feature article, if you're interested... the mag should hit the newsstands next week. Thanks to JDMOTO photography (www.jdmotophotography.com) for setting it up and taking the awesome pics. The car is still a work in progress, I have a few more things being installed in the next few weeks (Blitz spoiler, Veilside V2 hood, ’06 tails and headlamps).
How did I get the feature article? Basically, they really liked the shots and wanted to feature a single turbo Z with high HP (relatively). My car actually just recently dyno’d @ GRD a tad bit over 500whp and to my knowledge, is the fastest APS single turbo Z in the country on PUMP gas (93 octane). Unfortunately we were experiencing some misfiring and my tuner didn’t feel too comfortable with this issue and obviously wants to do some more tests to resolve the issue. He brought down the boost and it’s currently only at 12 psi (451 whp). I’ll probably bring the car back to the shop in a few weeks when the bodywork is finished. I’m also going with an FCON EMS instead of the currently installed utec.
Special Thanks to GRD (www.grdperformance.com), Car Medics (www.carmedautobody.com), and of course Charles/ CJ-Motorsports (www.cj-motorsports.com)
Anyways, here are the pics:
