Default DB's first autocross

Well I took her out for her first autocross today, running on the stock rubber, wow, it was still amazing! The first clip shows a good wide view inside the car, but due to the sun outside you can't see a damn thing beyond the windshield. So for the other 4 clips I had it zoomed in more, which didn't make for all that interesting of video, but you could see the outside world a lot better. I had a mic mounted to the rear license plate for sound pickup.

For next weekends event I'll have to get the camera adjust so that I can get a good wide angle view inside the car and still see outside the windshield!

Awesome, thanks for the vids!
Try and get some out of car footage as well for us next time.

You appear to be a very skilled driver.
How did you fair vs other cars of the day?

Thanks!

Next weekend I plan on getting a lot of out of car video, I have 2 cameras already lined up to film me run, and I think I can get 2 more.

This is my 4th season autocrossing now, I started out in a 94 Golf III, and then ran a 99 Z-28 for a year and a half, and now have the 350Z.

I faired well, I'd have to check results (it's a small event they may never get posted) but I think I was the fastest car on street tires, I know I beat all of STX, and most likely STS too. The other BS drivers there were on streets as well and were I believe 3-4 seconds back.

Next weekend I will get a good dose of reality though, as I should be running against an S2000 on hoosier's. My goal is to catch him on streets. I hope by the end of the month to have some race rubber underneath the car to have a shot at the divisional being held here in St. Louis.

I do the wiper thing too They put the fuse in a very difficult to get to fuse panel under the hood, or I'd pull it.
