So... I have been looking for a daily driver but I have become a little too used to the response of the Z and on top of that I am not looking for another money pit or to make a big dent on the checkbook.

Difficult to get something that covers all bases? Well, I thought so... until a friend of mine brought me the answer straight from Japan:



JDM Evolution IV GSR '97. Fun to drive on the 'wrong side of the car'! It feels rock solid, very comfortable and it is very quick and responsive. Very low miles and pretty decent paint make me think this thing was garaged for a while. It is bone stock except for an upgraded Cusco strut bar and and ARC radiator cooling plate... plenty of chances to show it some love later on when there is a chance.

I guess this is a good combination of low cost dd that still packs a decent punch when you need it. Does not come without compromises, the biggest one maybe being the RHD setup and the increased chances of diverse malfunctions due to age, but I think that is fair enough for the price tag.

We will see how this one turns out!

Yeah I totally agree.

I spent some time in Jaco and Playa Hermosa back in 2005 and I've wanted to go back ever since. Those streets would be perfect for the Evo!!

Ha, ha, ha... yeah, the drive-thrus are out for good... but I am a bit more worried about the toll booths, we still have more than a few that do not have the Quickpass thing...

Anyway, if anything, I will enjoy this a lot!

dont do that. WHen my driver window wouldnt roll down i tried it and was asked to leave. Plus the people behing/front of me were pissed at my headlights and laughing their *** off
