Going to fabricate a exhaust setup replicating the dual HKS carbon ti. Purchased two carbon megan mufflers, two vibrant 12in resonators, and one exhaust mandrel bent exhaust kit, and one 2 to 1 collector. (going from ypipe back... Replicating this HKS set up (cost like 1600 lol)

I really like the look of these angled mufflers in CF and only SFR offers the kit custom made with HKS mufflers that cost like 1600, to much imo. so im about 500 in parts and i do the labor so... i think i came out alot cheaper. lol finished pics soon.

I have the setup you are trying to duplicate. Why did you go with Megan mufflers? Why not the HKS carbon ti ones?

Anyway, good luck with the install. You're missing a couple a flanges though.

I didnt go with the hks because they are way overpriced... for two itll be about 700 bucks just for mufflers. im not even at 700 with piping and all. and i have flanges at my work...

nice parts Z_enthusiast. make sure you post pics when you are done. i actually was just talking about this EXACT set up like two days ago to a friend. the other non burnt mufflers from megan sound pretty good and have good material. Heard it in person on a Z with a custom exhaust as well.

so a reverse y pipe dual exit? I really hope u went 3" piping. Also u only really needed 1 res since your not running a TD. btw are u putting the res right before the canister? hope not i would say thats gonna effect the sound in a terrible way

I really havnt decided where I'm putting The resonators, I wanted to go before canister to give The set up a lil more eye candy with bumper tuck. y would it sound different, by putting it at exit would it mess with the flow giving it a bad sound so close to exit? and I went with 2.5in because my topspeed is single till axleback which is basicly what I'm doing and 3in is to big for a na z unless its a true single. also went with two small resonators because I want to quiet it down a lil.
