Previously I was running a Fujitsubo Legalis-R (stainless) along with a JIC y-pipe. When the shop was doing the swap they found a small crack between the Fuji midpipe and resonator, so it's currently getting a bead of weld run across it to fix it up, then I'm hoping to sell everything.

Thanks! I do have the vortex generators, but had not unwrapped them yet when I took the pictures. I'm still trying to figure out how to install the rear center bracket...even after reading Cheston's how-to guide a few times, it seems that this particular step is glossed over. I'm thinking I may mount the center bracket to the bumper first, and then use black sheet metal screws (as opposed to machine screws and nuts) to hold the diffuser to the rear bracket. Or, I might modify the bracket to mount spring clips (like the ones that are used to secure the OEM mud guards), which again would allow me to use screws threaded in from the outside, eliminating the need for nuts.

whoops. maybe i should revise.
the center bracket mount is probably the easiest. way easier than the sides imho.
since shine didn't predrill, you have the option of placement of the U bracket. IMHO, the rear trailing edge of the diffuser should lines up at the natural crease in the rear bumper
the U bracket is shaped to fit the slanted portion of the rear bumper, if they did it right. find a location, tape with painter tape onto the rear bumper and mount the U bracket to the rear bumper first.. THEN you can use a grease pen outline the edge of the U bracket and put the diffuser up next to it to transfer the outline on the inside of the diffuser. i'd remove U bracket from the car, and then drill out the holes for you to mount the diffuser to that. if you got NUTSERTS, i'd use those as those are way easier than putting an M6 nut and trying to align up the bolt and nut when the diffuser is finally going on.
that's pretty much it for the center bracket...... here it is in MS paint yo

you have to have a special tool to get it to crimp in, think of it as a threaded Rivet
as i posted in the other thread. the proper way is to attach the u bracket to the bumper, then when that is secure, attach the diffuser the the u bracket. not two really long bolts, its four short ones.

Look what i got today..
picked up a new project to drive to work.. same day as my wheels came in .
2006 Chrysler 300 Vanilla v6 for a full VIP build.. picked it up before work today..
Wheels came in just a bit ago at lunch time...
MRR HR3 concave wheels in 22x9.5 and 22x11
255 30 and 295 25 rubber going on them this wednesday.
My car is already dropped and has a great exhaust and lip kit.. ordered up a ton of Junction Produce interior stuff, vip trays, emblems, cf dash, curtains, pillows, knots, ropes, etc etc.
Stance and finish wise, will sit like this car :
anyways, not a build thread.. made a post since i just got wheels and a car today, thought that was pretty dope lol.

^ That looks like a fun project. I could see myself ditching the STi and getting a VIP-style DD at some point in the next couple of years.
