yeah its hydro dipped...i wanted the cf kit but i got a great deal on this so couldn't pass on it...but im very satisfied by how it came out and thanks

Here is what I got today... (technically yesterday)
My Evo-R Blitz spoiler replica. My girlfriend ordered this for me a few weeks ago as a late Christmas present. She ordered me the painted frp version in K51 (Carbon Silver) for my HR.
So... I got a text from her today saying that it finally arrived after about 2 weeks. I was ecstatic to hear the news, I even left work a little early so I could get home to open it up.
Unfortunately, it was packaged poorly and didn't offer much protection. Before I even attempted to open up the box, I can see something sticking out from the side...my heart sank. What do you know, my spoiler is clearly sticking out the side of the box and now needs to be repainted. The only thing they put in the box was a very thin sheet of bubble wrap w/ another thin foam sheet.
I have emailed Jay from Evo R and have yet to hear a reply. Funny enough, when my gf ordered it, I came across a thread on here about him giving discounts to forum members. (less than 24 hrs after it was ordered) I emailed him about it thinking in good faith to the Z community, he may offer his discount anyways, but he completely ignored my email. I believe I sent 2 emails, never in a rude manner, and politely asking him about this, which he still hasn't responded to. He eventually emailed me back but only to say the item was shipped. I didn't bother him again about pricing and just let it be. (but again, he didn't bother mentioning anything about my previous emails I sent him) Very friendly indeed.
Even though I'm not happy about his customer service, I'm willing to hear him out and see what he has to say. Hopefully I can have this resolved by him or I guess I will be paying out of pocket to have my spoiler fixed.So as of last night, you can imagine I'm not too happy with what I received.

Even though she can't stand to hear me talk about my car... she must secretly want to see me succeed with my car plans.
My fiancee is too scared to get me anything for the Z, oddly enough though when I am on the fence about buying anything she usually wants me " to get it and be happy with it" so I cant complain too much LOL
that sucks! but shouldnt you be taking that up with the shipping company? unless it left Evo-R like that, its not his responsibility. It clearly says fragile on the package and clearly the shipping company paid no mind.
Got my car back(again) from the shop. Swapped to a smaller pulley and they fixed some issues I had with the install.
It sucks that it's raining, I wanted to get on it a little bit but it's too wet out here

yeah man, been working on getting boost since about september but things just wouldn't go right for me. Things came up at the shop, Vortech sent the wrong kit, powder coating lagged a little getting the color I wanted, blah blah blah. Its not even a full build, just a simple Vortech with minor bolt ons. It looks like its finally good to go now though(fingers crossed)! Im working on posting up a little build thread just to keep up my progress over the years.
