Got it unlocked and it kind of blocked itself after a few minutes of use... a bit of careful coercion got it back on track again, though and it seems to be working just fine now You gotta love these buggy gadgets!

 

oh **** the N97 looks hot!!! I might have to get it later on. How much you paid? I thought all Nokia phone came unlocked if you bought them online..

 

$654 or so at Amazon... you can get phones online that you have to sign a plan for (I do not think this one was one of them), but I did not look too much into that as I needed to 'smuggle' it out of the US

Now it is a few thousand miles away from the US and working fine

 

Now I have to debate whether I want the to put on this wing or the V2 I have in my possession...

 

Just got this this afternoon The problem is to have to wait until next weekend to try and install it!!!!!

Been looking at that phone for a while, the thing that really draws me away from it is the awkward placement of the spacebar.

Any first impressions?? Would love a PM on it...i'm a bit of a phone nerd! Can't wait to see the HTC hero soon as well...but coming from a Nokia e71 (not x...) i'm partial to nokia's.
