Might be original but IMO you ruined your wheels. Different strokes for different folks.

 

One of a kind does not equate to greatness; IMO i agree that they should have been left polished instead of paint--it just comes out as dull

 

dont listen to them man, it looks awsome, very original. Look how many people have those wheels with a polished lip, almost every other car on this site. Now yours not only look unique in a good way, but your the only one with volks like that so far.

 

not feeling it...the rims look so dull now compared to the original ballin look with the chrome lip. just my opinion

 

I think it looks good, and obviously very original. Obviously it looks dull compared to a mirror-finish polished lip. I don't think the OP expected to be able to see his reflection in these lips.

So again good work, and I must say you have some cajones modifying a $3500 set of wheels like this.

 

nice. im sure they look better in person. the whole bottom half of the lip in the 3rd pic is washed out. i think its too bright in the pics.

 

i think it would of been better to color match your lips if your car was another color other than silver. It just makes your rims look dull but +1 on trying to be different.

Sizzle I paid 3250 form rims and Toyo Tires, if you can get them for 2600 (rims and tires) post that because a lot of people cant get that deal.

 

Wow didnt expect so much negativity on this... but alot of people dont like "different" Ive noticed on here. Those pics arent very flattering, but I think they look pretty good. Also the 2600 on those would be a good deal on them picked up no tires - and even then that is a pretty damn good deal.

 

I like it. can you post better pics as too much sunlight on them to really see.
