very nice....looking forward to getting my v1 2006 lip in a few weeks!
Any info you could give regarding filing the sides would be appreciated. I am letting my body shop install since they are painting it anyway, so if there will be some extra time involved I'd like to point it out to them from the start.

Thanks alot guys, i appreciate all the comments. And trust me, if i had it my way, i would have the front plate off too, but again NJ cops crack on simple stuff like that.
As for the modifications done to the lip, it was pretty simple to do. Just on the edges by the front wheel, i did minor sanding with a metal file. I took my time however, making sure i didnt take off too much at a time. Fits great, and very snug. In all honesty it was pretty much pressure fitted, the four bolts (two on each side, bolts into the wheel liner) was more than enough to hold it in place. Double sided tape isnt needed really but more so piece of mind. The second picture pretty much showed where i had to do the modding to.
I'll be back with more pictures, and with an slr.

Lipp is hot, mirrors are horrible, and i been driving in NJ for 4 years with my plate in my front window. Cops don't care if your driving a nice car, they do however harass the "people" that drive Honda's! lol

Looks great, you car is clean and i like the mirrors. I had the v1 lip on my old superblack and loved it. I also lived in NJ when i had my z and was pulled over only once for no front plate in two years of driving. I got out of the ticket by telling the cop i was having a custom front bracket made at the same body shop that installed the lip.
