How much does anyone here want to bet that he will wreck that silver Z also? I give him 6 months tops.

Oh, and if I were your friend in that car with you, I would sue you to the point where your great grandchildren would still be paying me off.

ok so let me get this straight.. you bought a high performance sports car for what reason now? i am curious

the fastest i have been is 185 mph on a motorcycle and 160 mph in my Z
You just made my argument that you are complete moron and an idiot. I surely didnt buy the Z so I could go 160 with it. Its very obvious you have a childs mentality. If you think that everyone buys a Z so they can go 150 mph you are a very very lost individual. Good luck going 185 on your bike and 160 in your Z. How fast a Z goes was very low on the list of why I bought it !!!!!

+ freaking 1.

WTF guys? I bought the Z because I like a nice car, I like decent gas mileage, I want to mod it, and I wanna do AutoX. Whoever buys a car because they want to go 160 MPH on a road with a lot of people is boardline insane, let alone incredibly immature o_o.

It's too easy for someone else to not be paying attention and change lanes on you while going that speed. Yeah, you could get lucky and survive with minor damage like the TC, but you could also be unlucky ... and you'll rob someone else of their life (and negatively affect the lives of many others, as well)!

There is a simple way to describe the difference between 75MPH and 150MPH ... that is the relationship between stopping distance and speed. Every time you double your speed, you QUADRUPLE (and even MORE) your stopping distance. It isn't a black and white thing ... while going 75 MPH in a 70 may be speeding and thus illegal, it is a completely different thing to be going freaking 150 ... its exponentially worse!

You're completely clueless. Good Luck and stay safe. God forbid you kill someone else while you're getting your kicks doing 185 on your bike or 160 in your Z. I am sure glad you don't live near me !!!!!

This is my impression of mcurry05:

*clears throat*

"Eat your vegetables! That looks dangerous. I don't think that's a good idea! Take a sweater! No speeding!!! I'm telling!"

Hey man, you can go fast but do it on the track. If you are going 160 on the roads around here I hope you get caught and put away for awhile. Like I said God forbid you kill someone else !!!!! Good luck

i can't help but think the impact was not at 150mph. (sorry didnt read all 4 pages of drama..) he might have initiated the accident at 150. but those impact picts look like he was significantly slower. i mean. come on. 150 and hitting a side rail, that whole entire side should have been ground up.

He never said what he hit. He probably hit another car on the highway which could have been travelling at ~80-85 mph (normal for a Florida highway) or he might have even been in a race with someone travelling at about the same speed. In either case, it would have been a cushioned impact. He also said that he was fishtailing for about 5 seconds before impact. So he would have slowed down some in that 5 seconds. My guess is that he may have been actually moving at around 125 mph at initial impact, but was around 150 mph before fishtailing... I doubt that he was looking at his odometer while he was wiping out.

It doesn't really matter. The point is that nobody was hurt and that he learned from it.
