I don't hate stretched tires if it's done within reason, but offset is just ridiculous when taken to these extents. Personally, I think once you get that crazy with offsets it starts to look like a poorly set up civic with chopped springs.
There's good offset, then offset that's overdone. I mean, big wheels, low offset/clearance looks nice, but save the camber for the rides with airbags. At least do it right with some flared fenders or a widebody.
I personally think the rears on this car look fine, the fronts just ruin it for me. Just my opinion, of course.
i think i read that he admitted he overdid it on the front though?
your G is sick man. mad props for fitting those offsets. i personally love crazy camber and offsets. i dont give a crap what other people think. it looks hard rolling
It's always nice to see member's pushing limits to the stance of their car's. I am feeling the overall setup and the camber setup. 20's always looked proper on a G. Nice job.
damn dude, very nice. All a G really needs to look good is a nice set of rims and a nice drop. your car looks crazy nice. love the stance, its aggressive and different.
I dont like fender flares nor do I like wide body. Whats the challenge in any of that. Your entitled to your opinion and thats perfectly fine. Im not sayin its everyones cup of tea, but sometimes there has to be a kink in the sameness of things....wheels...drop....kits ect....the normality is not for me. I like to be different and try new things. Of course pictures dont do any justice for this set up...in person its a whole new ball game!
Agreed! Wheel fitment and offset is a skill and challenge and I'm glad there are a number of other enthusiasts out in the Z community ready to try it out! Your wheel offsets and fitment are flush and well done! The drop is amazing!
I also agree that flared fenders and widebodies are not challenging; and personally they are over-the-top and remind me more of the memories of should-be-forgotten tacky Civics, rather than wide flush wheels would.
