i did my headlights and left the amber... looks much better i think...

 

looks good, but u need more after market peices to properly accent them.....keep it up!

its jsut i think the whole "clear" lights thing died out a few years ago... not my style. i like the offset/contrast given by the amber... but again it still looks better than stock chrome housings...

Amber looks tacky, like your biggest concern is sticking with US law. Go custom, go all the way, not half way. Flame on!

Nice work on the lights, painting is fun, gives the car a nice look. Did mine in white, just got new headlights and starting the process all over again. Cheers.

i didnt do it to stick to US laws... i did it cause when i see clear lights i think of like 2001 when clear and altezza tail lights and clear corners were a must have....

im not hating on the z without the amber strip cause either way it looks like it was meant to be, just in my eyes the amber strip adds more to the headlights...

when i blacked out my WRX headlights i removed the amber pieces but painted the actualy turn signal bulb yellow and it looked mint when you seen it from certain angles... i would have to dig up one of those pics though
