Default 06 PPW Night shoot

This was my first time shooting at night time. Its kinda tricky but i'll get used to it.

The car belongs to my brother "Philude" on this forum.

The fitment isn't awful by anymeans. it's not perfect, but it's pretty good fitment i'd say. yeah, my front is beat up, there's a lot of bumps and dips around my area and sometimes, they're just unavoidable, lol.

yeah, I work at East West Mortgage, across from Exxon. We've since moved across the street to the area behind the Nissan and Honda Dealerships though so my car isn't visible from Rte 7 anymore, lol.

Dude, night shooting is the easiest thing since brothels!

Your Nikon D40x should be taking better pictures than this.

What you need to do is turn the dial to Tv mode, and select something longer than 3 seconds. The shutter should stay open for that amount of time. And use a tripod!

Lastly, use the timer function so that you guarantee you don't shake the setup.

Just keep taking shots and you'll see definite improvement.

BTW, post processing is a must, that's why the photos look so dead.

are you boosted? there was a silver Z with a nismo kit that blew the doors off of me on the way home from work a few weeks ago...made me cry when i got home. I take that road a lot to avoid the traffic on rte 7. what'd you get in place of the 20s?

Looks nice, don't tell me that you used zip tie to hang your plate.

lol. I'm using the Nismo bracket, but the holes are made for Japanese plates. rather than drill holes into my new plates I opted for a flexible solution, otherwise known as Zip-ties =]

what tripod? it doesn't seem to be sturdy enough to hold the wait of your D40x, so when you release the shutter, the shake shows up in the images.

you can prevent this by using the shutter timer feature but you still want to upgrade to a better tripod.
