Default Couple shots of Silkk Z - August 07 - Aerosync, Veilside V1, Sportmax, Evo-R, etc.

Well, was supposed to pick the little lady up from work the other day and was running 20 minutes early, so I decided to snap some shots down the street (skid-shots) and at her workplace. Here are my favorite 5... Normally not much for the 'magazine'/'artsy' (i.e. angled) shots, but I kind of liked the two of these... I know I don't have the hottest Z on the earth, I know these aren't DSLR quality, and I know they aren't the best settings... but not half bad for taken on a quick whim with my point and shoot in auto-mode.

Comments, criticism, etc. are welcome...

Enjoy!

Oh, and I should add... the Z is now at 106k miles. Not looking bad for being an old, daily driver. Been driving her hard since I got her with 18k miles.

Been thinking about the Nismo skirts... these V1s are getting a little beat up anyway... We'll have to see! Thanks for the compliments and the recommendation!

The underwings are definitely a classic... and I enjoy their look also, which is why I haven't switched to a full side... yet. Although I do like the nismo sides or the ings sides...

Like I said the underwings are getting beat and need repainting/fixed up; the passenger rear one lost its double-tape, etc. So I need to do something with them soon, if I keep them.

Thanks for the votes of confidence though fellas!

PS - Hamy - know what you mean bro... I would love to get a nice 3-5 Z photoshoot going on sometime... I also need some rolling shots of my z. Had it for 3 years or so now and never got a single rolling shot.

thank you sir... I do my best to keep it clean and free of dings/dents. Only have one 'ding' in the rear passenger fender, but you can't see it unless you know its there. It's about dead center of the rear-end shot, but you can't see it.

Only piece of the kit I had painted off the car (while the car wasn't at the shop)... hence the bad match...

I've been thinking about getting the nismo underwings for the rear anyway.

How's the Aerosync bumper holding up after all those miles?

I'm considering it as my next mod, but want something pretty bullet-proof for daily driving... lotsa steep driveways, speed bumps, etc.

Looks great Silkk and welcome to the 100k club. I am closing in at 140k soon but in all fairness I have done a engine swap.

Have only had the Aerosync on there for maybe 12k, but I've already hit a tire-retread with it and just stripped some tiny bit of paint off the passenger corner. Which I just touched up with some silver touch-up spray... If I had a fiberglass or FRP bumper it probably would have been cracked, smashed, etc. I definitely suggest Eurethane. If not, then CF is pretty strong (see below)...

Prior to the Aerosync, I had the Veilside V1 lip (in Carbon Fiber) on the car for about 60k+ miles. That thing was very strong, looked good, and held up great to daily driving as well. However, it didn't stand up to a 70mph direct impact with a raccoon though. I still miss it sometimes...
