140k, wow... I remember when you turned 100k... doesn't seem that long ago. Hahaha.

Anyway, did you swap out of the first engine b/c something went awry, or did you just swap out to a built block with the turbo setup?

Hoping my original engine holds up til at least 150k. I should be there in probably 1.5 years if I keep the car that long (as is planned)...

Well the original motor after beating it to death had a horrible compression test so before boosting it I knew it would not last long. I spun a rod among other things on it and got a 05 long block with 20k miles from a wrecked Z at a salvage yard with the CD009 transmission also. If you think about all the cars using the VQ35 motor getting another motor is easy to find. I already has this motor lined up with the tranny even before the swap just incase.

Ed - they are approximately the OEM offset I believe (30-35 range), so spacers are a must if you want them to look decent... I have a 20mm on rear and 15mm on front...

They work for me though! Very cheap, have held up to 50k miles of PA roads, lighter than OEM (definitely not work light or anything...), and I don't mind if they do get beat up on the crappy roads or from a million miles or travel.

Wouldn't mind owning some Work or Volks or real Nismos, but just not worth the cash to me. I'd rather put it into my other hobbies...

Does that rear piece just hold on w/double stick tape or does it bolt on as well? Just curious how well it stays on.

Also, I have the side underwings as well (in CF though). Sounds like you used double-stock tape with them. I initially used it but it was white tape and was very noticable. so I took it off. Do they make black double-sided tape?
