Just had my shop painted the mastergrade hatch, and left in the inside CF. Here is one pic i snapped before i left. It wont be done till tomorrow. Will post some pics soon

Vince, cars coming along very nice. I was skeptical about the paint scheme, but after seeing it, it looks awesome. I think the roof and Asuka hood will really pull it all together. Can't wait !!!

It look ral good I never liked all CF hatchew ad hoods... Are you going to paint your roof black?

 

Technically, paint weighs more... so painting is worst for function. Painting it would be aesthetics instead of function.

Regardless, it looks great Vince. I can't wait to put mine on.

Yeah I agree with you Jim. I was at first very skeptical about the scheme, but i just wanted to find out what it would look like. So i decided to pill the trigger. I think it turned out very nice, but the only down side was the shop couldn't use the stock hatch struts because it was too strong for the CF hatch. But hey, who cares!!heheh..I will order the CF roof overlay from you soon. By the way, the Asuka deal fell through...

Alex didnt you actually painted some of your Cf parts in black too ? THe sides i think...like not completly by part of it

myladyz33: realize your post was completely your opinion and ovbiously not shared by many.
I do agree too much CF doesnt too look well...but its on a case by case basis...alot depends on the boby kit and other mods in the car. IF the them includes a lot of CF and it flows then is all good
