I'm SO gone.
I'd go to Japan just to visit Nissan.
And the chance to poke a camera inside an R390 GT-1.

Nice pics. I would give A LOT to be able to drive one of those black R34s off the lot, across the Pacific, and right into my garage.

i used to eat it. my friend ate that balut. he's white and chinese and has never tried anything like that, his first time. he liked it a lot. he actually said it's his new favorite.

philippine balut is different than other asian balut. it's cooked at an earlier stage so the duck inside hasn't developed hard bones unlike vietnamese balut.

ok, my cousin explained the concept of the philippine balut to me. of course, the story was told while we were drunk. the philippine balut egg has to be cooked at 17 days old. the egg yolk will be larger and the duck is smaller and softer. other asian countries wait til it's 19 days old, the egg yolk will be smaller while the duck will be more developed and larger. the bones are hard and the beak is developed. also, it will be more feathery. i checked wikipedia later on and confirmed his story to be accurate.

i used to eat it a lot when i was i kid. i stopped when the duckling fell out onto the table and i discovered what i was eating. i always ate it whole and never knew what was inside until one actually fell out. i tried it again years later, but didn't eat it as much. it tastes really good, but the incident that happened when i was a kid still haunts me. i ate one during the time my friend tried it.

there's another duck egg thing they have there. they call it "One Day Old." when the duckling hatches, literally that day, they deep fry it and eat it. hence the name "one day old." my friends wanted to try it
