I think it's low enough... just it's stock and most people have a kit on their car and your camera agles make it hard to tell. There should be something to comapre the cars height to in the pics... like another car, preferably another z. I can't wait to get some stance coilovers.

Seriously though....at least he's got a plan and the car has got potential. I mean really all he's gotta do to make a pretty complete nice looking Z is add wheels.

no, he has to add the RIGHT set of wheels.

a bad set of wheels can completely destroy the look of any car. it really doesnt matter how LOW the car is if it doesn't look good. and when it looks good, everyone will agree on it!

I couldn't agree more, which is why I still have my stock wheels....the RIGHT set of wheels cost money....want to donate some? Might be a while before I get wheels because I am a full time student and I really want a Quaife diff. before I buy wheels so BUT its fuggin low none the less and this is a thread dedicated to being low....you all are making me feal like I posted in
https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...ml#post6282207

Got a AutoX coming up this month, but I guess I should take my coilovers off since I shouldn't use them till I have pertty wheels with sick fittment yo....

Also as I mentioned above....I was thinking about adding spacers to make it look a bit more appealing because I do realize that they are completely sunk in the wheel wells and I don't like the look of that as much as you all. What do you all think about that? If yes then what size do you think I should run?

I agree with you deviljon to a certain extent. You see, 90% of the people on here think that if you dont have the right offset and/or spacers, suspension setup, Volk TE-37's etc... That your doing it wrong. My point... The beauty is simply in the eyes of the beholder, a mere expression of opinion. There will ALWAYS be someone that doesn't agree with your setup. Period. Not telling you guys something you don't already know. Thumbs up for all the sexy Z33's submitted, they all look great in my eyes. Just my .02... Time to go crack open a cold one...

jentwisl: i would just wait and put it toward the wheels of your choice. Me personally, i would skip out on the spacers which i did, lol. Anyhow nice suspension setup. just work on some wheels with a nice aggressive offset and you should be good to go.

sell the stockers and get your wheels asap! cr kai's are cheap and there is usually no waiting time at most places.

i used to go tracking (not with my current wheels) but i was dumped too. ended up rubbing tire on frame so i wouldn't suggest going too low on the stance coilovers. good luck with the autox!

I think spacers greatly approve stock wheel appearance, and are pretty cheap compared to wheels and tires.
You can always resell the spacers for close to what you paid for them too.

Okay CO's in. Stillen splitter didn't show up today which it was supposed to and also didn't get the camber arms/toe bolts installed.

Rain was fighting me the whole time and me being the only person able to work on it, slowed me down substantially.

I've got the height right where I want it, but the flushness is not where I want it. That'll change w/ the camber arms/toe bolts. Also gonna have to roll/cut the fender lips to allow more room. Some have suggested to me to go w/ a skinnier tire on the 8.5/9.5 setup but I like the meat. Right now I'm only rubbing in two spots. Both on the passenger side front and rear. I can fix that and have been but it's trial and error right now as to how much I need to pull/ fold the lip.

This weekend I should have the camber arms and toe bolts installed and get my alignment. B/C right now I'm all outta wack as you can see from the EXTREME negative camber going on.

Onto the pics shall we? (I work this weekend...so what I get done this weekend is dependent on that that. [V])

Next up are NICE wheels, stretched tires (if I decide to go that route) and more pics!

8.5/9.5 is weak. you need to go with wider wheels. nice drop though.
